Martial Arts, Zara Phythian and Me!

Hiya - I had a great time this weekend at the NEC!! As you can see from this photo! It was taken by Keith Doyle, a Martial Arts photographer for Fighters Magazine at the event who kindly sent it to me via my website contact form.

I arrived on the Friday and stayed over, got to the NEC early Saturday morning and started mingling with some awesome MA experts - seriously, my black belt in Tae Kwon Do fades into nothing against some of these seriously fit and dedicated people!! 

 

Introducing the stage events alongside Katie Solomons was the living legend in female Martial Arts, the Lady Dragon  - Zara Phythian and I got to sit on stage with her...and she interviewed me!!  Humbling or what! PLUS when I went backstage after my act  the awesome and unbelievably excellent Shaolin Monks wanted to have their photos taken with me!!  I have been a Shaolin groupie since I saw them perform at Worthing Pavilion several years ago... bliss!!
